Topping up your GO: Card works in a similar way to how you top up your mobile phone or your gas and electricity accounts:

You can now TOP Up your GO: Card at any Paypoint outlet or Post Office in the UK. Simply take your cash and GO: Card to the store and the assistant will do the rest. The Paypoint will charge you 3% of your top-up and will take up to 15 mins to be credited to your card. The Post Office will charge you 1% (min £1) and will take up to 24hrs. The choice is yours.
